Continuing Medical Education

WSE 2014 Accreditation Statement

Northside Hospital is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Northside Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

It is the intent of Northside Hospital to assure that its Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities are not influenced by the special interests of individuals associated with its activities. Having an interest in or an affiliation with any corporate organization does not necessarily influence a speaker’s presentation, but the relationship must be made known in advance to the audience and any perceived conflicts of interests are resolved prior to the educational activity. If an off-labeled use of a commercial product, or an investigational use not yet approved is discussed, the speaker will disclose it as such. Disclosures of faculty and symposium will be made prior to the symposium.

Activity Evaluation

On-site evaluations will address content, presentation, perception of possible bias, and future educational needs.
